Got 2 alphacool 240mm rads, I've left 3parts DS water 1 part vinegar in there over night, flush/shook with near boiling distilled water like 20 times and with mixed vinegar another 20 times and stuff just never comes out clean. I see tiny little metallic bits and brown flaky stuff everytime.

There has to be a better way of cleaning these radiators, first loop for me and i really don't want to contaminate my new blocks :(

You ratio is way too low. Add more vinegar. Start with at least a 50/50 mix. I usually do 2:1 vin/water, sometimes straight vin if I'm in a hurry.

I thought most people use 4:1 w:v to not eat away at too much copper, so I thought I was already making it stronger than the norm

I wouldn't use straight vinegar, 3/4 to 1 should be fine. Have you tried boiling the water/vinegar, letting it cool a little, and using that? Works for me.

my alphacool was clean as a whistle when i got it guess its look of the draw sometimes but i like the info provided here so know in future what to do if one is dirty.

2:1 mix, shake vigorously, let sit for 30 minutes, then drain and flush. It's concentration vs time so if you raise the level of vinegar, shorten the time it sits.
