I'm thinking about buying an air compressor for cleaning my computers and airing tires.. now would a 2-3 gallon compressor work well for this? I really dont want a huge air compressor cause i'll moving it around a bit.
 
Yes this will be fine. Make sure you drain the compressor between usage to prevent the chance of moisture building up inside.
 
You could probably get something even smaller than that. And +1 to draining them.
