Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I use a Shuttle XP17 LCD. Now, it has a glass cover over the actual LCD. What I am wondering is if I can use something like Windex or endust to clean off the glass?
Does the glass have an anti-glare coating on it? If not you can use just about anything. From a chemical standpoint glass is really f'n tough. Acetone, gasoline, lighter fluid, hydrochloric acid, Draino, whatever. Plain glass takes serious chemicals to damage. Don't get it on the paint or plastic case parts though.
If it has a coating or you're not sure, I'd error on the side of caution. I normally use an old cotton sock with a hole in it (ie- a soft cloth) and water to clean my CRTs. If they need more than a little soaking in water and light rubbing I'll use Windex.
