cleaning and scratch removal

I have an NEC FE991SB, and I abso-frickin-lutely love it.

I've had it for a year now, and it needs a little help. First off, its a little dirty, and I've been hesitant to clean it with anything but a dry tissue in fear of damaging the anti-glare coating. What will not damage the monitor?

Second, I was a little careless right after I got it, and have two scratches in it. One is fairly deep, and the other seems pretty shallow. Someone suggested using a paste you can get at hardware stores for fine glass scratches, but I was unsure if it would hurt anything, or even help anything.
 
Someone had recommended Monster iClean. So I picked up a can and it made my screens look brand new. It is a little high on the price, but there is enough in the bottle to last a few years.
