I haven't used water cooling for a few years now after my res leaked and fried an HD. But anyways, I want to get back into it and reuse my old blocks, rad, and pump. I just need to get them cleaned up is all because everything has been sitting in a box for 2 yrs or so now.
For some reason I remember reading that vinegar works well to clean out older blocks, but I couldn't find anything about it with the search. All I could find was using hot water and then flushing with distilled water.
First off I know I need to get the blocks sanded down and take out some scratches from being boxed and moved twice. I will be doing this throughout the week before I started cleaning them up.
So what's the best way to clean them up?
