Is it dangerous to take it apart?

Am I ok to just disassemble it and clean it with some isopropyl?
 
What are you cleaning from the PSU? You should just use compressed air and blow it out. No need to disassemble it (which would also void the warranty).

Agreed, compressed air will be the most efficient way.
 
Not only will it void the warranty its dangerous. It holds a charge and can really zap you. So NO, do not use alcohol on it, or even take it apart. If you have something on it that's really bad like cigarette smoke or something, do a LOT more research before you start messing with it. There are ways to dissipate the charge but you had better find out how.
 
I smoke (yes...I need to stop) & I have to clean my rig every two months to rid of dust etc. I purchase a decent amount of of canned air & it does do the job.

If you smoke, you should at least avoid doing it near your PC.
