Anyone ever get "sticky" keys? You know those one or two keys that don't press down just right. Any guides on how to clean out or fix the key placement out there?

Don't know if this is the best way to clean lappy keyboards but when i get some keys playing up I just lift off the individual key and clean in there with a cotton bud. Works well for me. You can get them off by just wedging them off with a blunt knife.

With older, dumb ps2 keyboards you can just stick the whole thing in the dishwasher, then give it plenty of time to dry.

Newer usb ones are a bit trickier, you're better off dismantling the thing to remove the logic board before putting it in the dishwasher.

The ghetto mods way is to pop off all the keys, take the whole thing to bits and then wash it individually - I did that with a MS Natural I got at a yard sale for $5 and it turned out great.
