Which [H] review PSU has the cleanest DC output? With price and wattage (high or low is fine) being no object, which has the least noise, even (and especially) under load?

Well I figured someone might have known off the top of their head. That person gets to look like they know what they're talking about, and I get my answer with far less effort and time spent. Everybody wins!

BFG LS-550 for absolute numbers.

Holy frak, that does seem to steal the show by quite a large margin. Thank you, good sir!

And Bill, that PSU is *not* on the list, so I never would have seen it ;) Also wouldn't have expected it from a "low end" model either.

One has to be careful when reading Paul's replies.

It was YOU who specified the [H] reviews, not I.

Paul gave you a model that meets absolute numbers, period. Nowhere did he even hint it was the right PSU for your needs, YOU specifically stated "Cleanest DC". You never mentioned what computer you were going to use or a list of components.

You were given precisely what you asked for, nothing more nothing less. If you wanted to win a bet, great, if you were looking for the right PSU exactly for your needs...maybe, maybe not.:p;):D

The PSU will be used for powering a system explicitly designed for high-performance overclocking. The PSU has ample wattage (we'll be using a toy GPU), has phenomenal voltage stability, and passes the torture test with flying colors. And it's inexpensive to boot. What's not to like?

Lol, this has nothing to do with the PSU, all I said was you got an answer to your question.

It is about forming a proper question and reading (and comprehending) an answer.;)
