Clean Sweep like program?

looking for a program that will take a snapshot of everything before an install, and then one after... so that if i want to unistall something, it will completely remove it.
(think trial versions an starforce)

I had clean sweep a while back, but had mixed results with it

Edit, my mistake, i though it was called clean sweep, but it was actually go back.

i already messed my pc up, now i have to reinstall Win.
need to do it for next time

Personally for trial versions I just run them in a virtual machine. MS Virtual PC is free now, so it is fairly easy to do.

Otherwise you could try the last free version of Total Uninstall or the new shareware version of it. There are also a couple free utilities for this on this page
