With the new forum layout being personally harder to read for me, I wanted to make a suggestion on the classifieds.

Can we have a seperate sub forum for the for sale and wanted threads? This forum is one of the most active as far as classifieds traffic, I feel it would really benefit to seperate these. Plus then it would help with bumping, perhaps your thread won't be on the second page within an hour of posting it anymore.

Many other forums go even further seperating the components IE a video section then mobo and CPU section etc etc. But I'm just asking for seperate FS and WTB sections for now.
 
That would actually be a great idea 87dtna !!!!

It would also separate the for sale and the want to buy so that someone thinking of selling something could just jump in the [WTB] forum and see if anyone is specifically looking for that particular item.

I think that would make it a bit easier as well without having 2 sections.

That would be easier to see to tag it like that, but the other issues wouldn't be resolved. Mainly, there's so much traffic that when you post a thread it's on the second page after an hour. It would really help if there were separate sections.
 
While I personally don't dislike the idea, I do like seeing both in 1 section. Sometimes I just browse and go hey, he needs this and I have it, sometimes when I don't even look for something to buy, I see a good deal on a Raid card or something. it doesn't bother me but my personal preference is just a color change to see who is selling and how is looking to buy.
 
I see your point, but still feel it should be seperate. Most other forums have even more separation than just FS and WTB, and this forum probably has a lot more turnover so stuff gets bumped to the third page in just 2 hours. I don't know about you, but I really only look at the first 2 pages of classified ads when I check it out.
