I have a Dell Mini Inspiron 1010 and I plan to upgrade the RAM to a 2GB but my problem is that I was looking at a website and I see it said CL2.5 on the RAM. Had to do research to be sure which specific memory was require for the mini laptop otherwise the laptop may crash if it's sensitive to specific parts.

I was doing a lot of research and I found one match but the problem is that the CL said "CL4". What exactly is a "CL" and is it that important for a laptop?

Unless someone can help me out here finding a memory card for my mini laptop, please?

Command Access Strobe Latency rating doesn't matter for a laptop.
as long as the memory ratings are matched if using a pair of modules.

goto www.crucial.com to lookup parts compatibility

Is yours a 10 or a 10z. If it is not a 10z, then it is not upgradeable.

Also, if you are running Windows 7 on that thing, it is going to be dog slow no matter what. I just switched one from Windows 7 to XP and the difference is night and day.

I try that website and it gave me nothing. I found this and does it seem to match?

It's just a 10, not a 10z. I saw videos of how to upgrade it so how can it not be upgradable?
