I work in a citrix based company whom all the corparate users have normal thick clients but all of our branches run off of Citrix Thin Clients. Is there a new tech on the way in or is citrix here to stay
 
Maybe I'm mistaken to what distributed computing is. My understanding is that with Distributed computing it is were rather than doing the processing locally it is handled at a distributed location or locations. Thus Citrix is a Tech that supports that. However if I am wrong I appologize and would appreciate an revise definition.
