i meant is the modem owned by you or the isp. if its the isp's or even bought from them it may be completely locked down.On both sides, I'm working from the ISP side but sometimes I wanted to do it in my home.
I have tried it with PUTTY. It could not connect and errored me "Connection Refused"!https://www.192-168-1-1-ip.co/router/cisco/dpc3825/1673/
Says default IP is 192.168.0.1, you could just try and SSH/Telnet to that IP with PUTTY.
