I was looking at buying some used cisco equipment off of ebay to learn networking. I have a pretty good understanding of networking in general but I was looking at learning some of the cisco stuff. I have read on the forums that the 2514 router will be able to be used with a cable/dsl connection. One question I have is, will this be a bottleneck on my network? I have a 5mbs cable connection, 2 desktops and 3 servers that all have access to the Internet. Also what would be a good cisco switch to use? I want to get this equipment to broaden my knowledge and try new things. I would like for it to be used with my current network that has access to the internet but if that will not be possible I may change my mind about this whole thing. What do you guys think of ciscokits.com? Thanks for any help.

I know this was posted a while ago but I was searching for something and came across it.

The 2514 is a 10mbps system so it should have no affect on your internet speed.
