I ran into a strange issue... I'm in Houston and we have a new Co-Location in Dubai. Their government mandates that a proxy be used. All the IE apps on all the machines now have a proxy setting in them... is there a way to add a proxy setting in the router so that this can be accomplished without the IE setting change?

CISCO 1841

Thanks!

Thanks for the info!

I might have mis-explained myself a bit, as your link refers to a transparent proxy on the router itself. In Dubai, no traffic gets out of the country on HTTP unless it hits one of their proxies, so they can see what's going on, i.e. on every machine behind my router I have to put in IE x.x.x.x 8080 to get HTTP traffic to pass. What I would like to do is "mask" for lack of a better term, all devices behind the router and have the router point all the http traffic to x.x.x.x 8080 so that any device sitting behind the router will not have to have their IE proxy settings configured.

Any info on this?

Thanks!
