I have a whitebox esxi server, previously running esxi 4.0. Using these instructions:

I was able to get the CIM components to install and run, this allows my whitebox with a P400 RAID controller to report the RAID controller status to esxi. So ESXI can alert me if a disk fails.
But the instructions don't work for esxi5. I believe I've figured out the first part, loading the CIM driver, but the 2nd part involves modifying files that don't even exist on esxi5.
Anyone have experience with getting hardware monitoring working on ESXi5 for whtebox PCs?
