I got an email today (very unexpectedly) from Chumbo.com telling me my order for a BFG 6800 Ultra OC had shipped. :eek:

This was unexpected because I had only put my order in about a week ago.

Their web site shows a next ship date of 08/23/04, so if anyone wants to wait a bit, they might have em back in the near future.

Glad I didnt succumb to idiocy and blow more than retail price on one, $499 with free 2 day shipping sounds very good to me! ;)

Just figured I'd let people know if any were still looking.
 
Did the same thing a few weeks ago and rec'd it a few days ago. Just popped mine in. Gotta love it. And yeah, $499 is quite nice. Sorry to those who paid more.......
