Chrome case?

Awhile back I was considering getting my entire case chromed out. Although I've given up that idea for my current case, I am really thinking it might be a neat option for a project in the future. I was considering doing the entire thing on one hand, or just the outside on the other hand, but either way it would look neat (Lian-Li PC-60). I am just curious if anyone has it done to their case and has a few pictures handy? I am SURE I am not the only person thinking about real chrome on their computer. I mean, EVERYONE wants a case they need to polish with Mother's before each lan!!!!

Also, I have NO knowledge of this sort of things. The science is a bit out of my league. I looked up chroming places in my area on google, and I got electro-plating, chrome dipping, chrome this, and nickel the other thing. I was just going to send it to a place that does Harley parts for my family, but they mainly do bike parts, and thus they overprice QUITE a bit.

Anyway, this is more of a discussion than a question. Like to see a computer if anyone has it done, and see opinions of any sort on the topic. :D

although chrome on a case would look good, e-nickle would look better and be 10 times more durable.

Plan to spned some big bux either way to get it done its not cheap no mater where yo send it.

I dropped off a mobo tray and HDD cage to get chromed, and $50 for a deposit. I have no idea what it's going to cost me, but I am doing a Harley case for my buddy that mimics his chrome and color spots. I took it in and was told that the east coast had only one good chroming shop, so I informed him I wanted it done no matter what. Waiting to see, if I get them back soon, I will post pics.
