My sisters want some ideas on what to get me for xmas because they said I'm hard to shop for.

I thought of a few miscellaneous things like a quiet fan for my PSU, a baybus controller, cable sleeving kit, Lian Li media card reader, passive cooler for my northbridge, but I was hoping someone here had some cool ideas. Something neat that I may not have thought of and that I probably wouldn't buy for myself or some crucial component no [H] member should be without. Or some cool games since I'm just getting into PC gaming and the only thing I've played is Halo, though I'll download my free copy of HL2 soon enough - thinking about getting Far Cry too.

I'll post all my system specs below so you know what I already have. Also, try to keep the cost to under $100 per item.

i was gona say an MX1000 (i asked for one) ....but you have one hehe. what about cpu cooling? sound dampening? gift certificates? ......dare i say clothes? :p

Wow, your computer set up is just fine. Just ask for money. If they're offended by that, well uhh. There's some Geek Christmas Guide article in some magazine somewhere of what you should get. Hey, a T-Mobile SideKick 2! :) But yeah, ask for money. Save it up. Wait for something good, get that. Do not buy what you want, buy what you need. :)

I don't want to ask for money because they are my little sisters and they are all about getting gifts and etc.

And yeah clothes are something I already thought of, but I didn't think anyone here would think of wasting money on clothes. ;)

And I already have a Zalman 7000A Al-Cu HSF - knew I was forgetting something.

Maybe a small USB thumbdrive?

You could get a sound dampening kit or ...man! your computer is kick ass and i can't think of anything else!

gimme a link to a good kit so I can see what all this is about

Ahh, there's so many different kinds of sound dampeners. One example is a thick dense foam that you could put on the bottom/walls of your case and between your hard drives. It'll just stop the rattling. It's best if you google your own case along with some sound dampeners.

my skimming is not up to spec. :p i'd say get a few Lazer Lights...

I want an Icemat Red 2nd ed and a chaos deflier (wh 40 k figure).
This thing was in the WH40k Dawn of War game (it's this big demonic chaos robot) ant the miniature looks awsome! BTW the pad is also real cool!
