somebody told me that they compare the silenttower to entry level water cooling.....and it already has a fan so it would be a bit cheaper......

I voted "other", I really like the Zalman 7000A series.
 
I think i am going to get the thermalright because i dont have holes in my MOBO to mount the SilentTower.....
 
I helped a friend with some new computer problems, and he had an Abit KV8 Pro with a SilentTower on it. That thing is freaking HUGE. There was no room to get ram in or out of slot 1, and it was tricky getting it in slot 2. Basically if you wanted to remove the ram you had to remove the HSF. It seemed to cool fine, but it's enormous, and I wouldn't recommend it. The one plus was that because you could aim the exhaust at the rear of the case, it could be sucked out directly by the rear fan, in his case a 120mm. That kept his case temp pretty much constant, regardless of load. Still, it's gigantic and likes to eat wires with its fan.
 
I think we should all know "How much are you willing to spend on it?" before we can really make any sort of suggestion.

congrats dude...I'm sure you'll like the Thermalright. I used to have a old Tt Volcano and you can imagine the difference it made when I switched to the SLK800: less noise, lower temps by 3-5C's, higher quality 'sink overall too.

That slk900 fits 92mm, so make sure you take advantage of that--no that doesn't mean buying a 92mm tornado lol.
