Hi,
I'm looking for a new router for my home network. An important requirement is that the router and wireless access point should be separated.
It should have minimum 1 WAN port (gigabit is not required), minimum 4 gigabit LAN ports, VPN support and packet encryption (not an important requirement). Low power consumption is ofcourse a good bonus.
I have used some Cisco hardware before and I liked it so that is basically what I've been looking at so far. I have found these:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps9928/index.html
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps9927/index.html
What do you think about them? What would you recommend? It has to be high quality hardware.
