Not with a 192-bit video card, 3GB frame buffer isn't worth it. Stick with the 2GB models and save money. The MSI cards are great though. I'd not go with ATI right now (Had 7970 and 7950 crossfire in different systems and did not like the performance from one card, despite its high FPS)
 
The bargain in those links is the XFX 7950 card.
Why?
It comes with two AAA title video games.

There is NOTHING wrong with choosing the XFX card. Single card setups are just fine.
There is a hot debate going on now concerning Crossfire, but if you only have one card who cares.

The NVidia cards you link are good too. I'd pick the MSI if I was going to buy one, but as I said if it was down to that group, the 7950 will be a bit faster and has more video memory standard, and comes with two awesome games.:D
 
Thanks for the input, how about not considering the free games, cause i don't really want to play those game. Looking for a good card for Planetside 2 and BF4
 
How is the XFX 7950 compared to the Sapphire 7950? I'm close to purchasing either a 7950/70 and it most likely will be from Tiger Direct. I've read so many good things about the Sapphire Dual-X but don't see the XFX mentioned much. My main concern is cooling and voltage unlock. I currently have a XFX 6950 and I remember trying to get a good overclock on it when I first bought it and the pain it was to unlock the voltage. Mine is one that doesn't unlock to a 6970.
 
I'd also throw a vote in for the 7950. Battlefield 3 runs amazingly on my 7970. It's true that crossfire will "stutter" and not play as smooth as SLI, but if you aren't concerned with that..... who cares.

If you are open to buying used items, you could even to bigger and snag a 7970 for around $300-350.

My reference 7970 OC's up to 1175 core without a voltage tweak, so I can't answer that question.
 
Im planning on selling both my 670 windforce x3 2GB cards. I run 3 screens so I really want more RAM. If you are on one screen, 2GB will be enough.
