I have a dillemma..

I have an AM2 mobo with a 4200x2 now I was thinkin about just getting a black edition 5000 and a new headsink...but now im thinkin about just getting an intel mobo and an e6750..obviously the intel route is more expensive but what do you guys think I should do?

I mostly just use my PC to game on..

4200+
2gigs of ram
8800gt

Thanks in advance.

Ouch not sure I want to touch this one, however Fanboi club aside I would definately sit down and weigh the options.

What will benefit you the most, what is your budget like, what are you expecting out of a system.

If your current mobo is pretty new, is a good OC board and supports everything I would just go with the AMD.

If its not living up to your expectations and you would like something better (haha) I would get a new mobo and C2D or C2Q chip and go to town. I do not think you could go wrong either way but what is going to give you the most out of it in the end is what I would look at.
