ok, when I run chkdsk from windows it runs through the test fine but at the end it says...

Correcting errors in the Volume Bitmap.
Windows found problems with the file system.
Run CHKDSK with the /F (fix) option to correct these.

So I run it with the /f condition, restart, it runs in dos mode, and it runs the 3 tests like in windows fine then it dosen't say anything about the Volume Bitmap

So when I enter windows again and run chkdsk again I get the same message.

pls help
