Chipset voltage adjustment question

I have found a very stable overclock with my setup and I'm wondering if I should put up the voltage to the chipset as well. My rig is 100% stable when I get into windows, but sometimes when I boot it up it can do weird things, and I'm wondering if it's related to the motherboard not getting enough juice. "weird things" like when I restart, it goes into "detecting" raid arrray (even though I don't have raid), then reboots again on it's own only to start up normal, but skips the windows bar loading page and goes straight to windows.

So is it safe to increase the voltage to my chipset?
