Hi I am looking for someone (to pay) to code a program similar to this seen here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7URJUGB7gyE

I am in a school chess club that likes to challenge computer vs computer matches and this tool would be super handy.

Instead of that approach in the video where he has it as a dedicated do-all program, what I want is an interface program that takes moves from one chessboard, like instantchess.com, or yahoo chess, and reflects changes in Arena 3.0, and waits for arena to recommend a move, and take that recommend move and play it in the original chess board. This should be easier to code and simplified considering Arena is doing all the chess work logic. Please see this screenshot of what I mean:

The red grid lines are there to demonstrate an idea I originally had by using an overlay grid system, a bit like the windows program snagit, that uses grid change detection to determine what pieces have been moved etc. Anyhow, please PM me if you are up to the task. Cheers programmer forum

there are several chess engines out there that are free.

you can connect at freechess.org with them through an interface such as winboard.

you can right now grab a copy of crafty chess engine and winboard then setup zippy to connect to freechess.org

chesspartner is a great user interface that you can use for 30 days for free.

Rybka a very powerful chess engine has released there later version for free. very powerful. if you have anymore questions feel free to pm me and/or reply here.

i'm a very much into chess.

signup at freechess.org and play a few rounds there. there are bots for learning end games, openings, etc...

lots of IM and even GM are there too.
