Has anyone heard of the company Cherry, they make keyboards and I'm curious if all there keyboards are mechanical.

Cherry is the company that invented mechanical switch keyboards, almost all mechanical keyboards use their components. Their keyboards are very good.

eeeeh, the IBM Model M is a mechanical keyboard and significantly outdates Cherry.

That being said, in the sense of modern mechanical keyboards almost all of them use switches manufactured by Cherry. They are widely considered to be the gold standard.

My workplace has Cherry keyboards for the telemetry monitoring stations at work. They are made in Germany and they are rubber dome. That's all I can tell you about them.

Sweet, thanks for the replies. The place I work at just installed some new computers with cherry keyboards, found it interesting seeing as how all our other computers are really outdates and haven't had proper maintenance.
