How do I check framerates while playing?

Is there a console command? I've got the console enabled in mp and finished the game in sp.

'stats fps' isn't cutting it... doh
 
Try a program called FRAPS. You can download a stripped down version of it for free. I do not have the link, but if you google it I am sure you will find it.
 
Every console command on the CoD engines is practically identical to their Quake 3 counterparts.

Thanks. I don't know those but I'm pretty sure I can find the other codes if I want to check those.
