Hello,

I am about to order this system tomorrow and would like to know if everything looks good and if there are any last minute changes I need to make (that wont affect price dramatically).

I have chosen the current motherboard here because I cant find any other ones that score high ratings and have only one pci-e slot.

I plan to overclock aswell.

Thanks,
Adrian

Only thing I would do is get a more reliable brand on your video card. Powercolor, MSI, Sapphire, and of course genuine ATi are my reccomendations.

Could have sworn ATi had super strict quality control. Have they slipped up recently?

Connect3D is fine, it will perform as well as any of the others.

OP, what do you mean you can't find any others iwth only one PCI-E slot? The Ultra-D has alot more then just one PCI-E slot. All nForce 4 boards do.

If your planing to overclock then you might want to stay away from the current winchesters. The ones coming out recently OC worse than the Newcastles. If I where you I'd wait for venice/san diego core to come out but I don't know if waiting is an option.

Yes, I've been seeing the same thing, and it makes me happy that I got one of the last Newcastles when I grabbed my 3500+. She overclocks like a champ (currently running at 2.64 ghz on air).
