Ok when setting up my wifes new/old computer I keep getting Checksum errors. Whats with that? All the components we previously in a working system.

Specs: A7N8X mobo
Athlon XP 2400
WD 30 gigger
56X cd rom
Standard crappy floppy.

Also the mobo seems to think that the processor is an XP 1800? And when it goes to detect IDE devices it take a good 30 seconds for them to be reconised. It posts fine I just cant get it past the check sum errors. I have tried changing the boot order and have tested all the parts in my main rig and they are working fine. I have tried resetting the jumpers also. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try reflashing the BIOS, that fixes the problem when ever I have encountered it.
