Do Newegg's Rosewill "generic" RAM chips work well? I'm looking to order a 1GB dual channel DDR400 set for my parents computer. It will not be overclocked at all.

I know that PQI memory functions excellently, as that's what I bought my girlfriend, but the Rosewill is cheaper with today's sale and has tighter default timings.

If you're looking for the very cheapest then just make sure it has a lifetime warranty, buy the cheap stuff, odds are you might really need to use it.

I don't like using any generic brand memory or psu's. You can get name brand memory for fairly cheap. However, I sure hope it works out okay for you. I'm sure it will as I've never really heard anything bad about that brand in particular, it would just be outside my personal comfort zone. :)
