Cheapest, quietest pump?

Was wondering if anyone could recommend the cheapest, quietest pump that will accept Innovatek 8x1 (1/4" BSP Thread) compression fittings?

Yes, I know that usually looking for the "cheapest" pump is asking for problems however the project I'm sketching has a series of non-functional reseviors that I'd like the water to circulate in but that I don't want to sacrifice flow rate to connect them all to the actual cooling loop.

I've considered setting up two seperate loops but it's really not worth the added expense of a quality pump and additional radiator at this time and, if it's needed in the future, I'll just build the second loop later.

All I need is a very inexpensive, quiet, pump (that's not going to blow a seal and spray water all over everything).

Any suggestions?

Cheap and quite don't go together.

Quitest pump I have ever used are Eheim 1046 and 1250.

I'm thinking between cheap and quiet (if I had to pick one over the other) I'd go with cheap. If necessary I'll build some kind of enclosure for the pump and insulate it with sound dampening material.

Remember that cheap equates to quality and since a pump can make or break your cooling solution I'd think twice. Just a word of advice.

QFT. Pumps are to watercooling loops what power supplies are to the rest of the computer. The money you spend on a good pump will make a gigantic difference to the longevity and effectiveness of your loop.

Several places sell adapters for both Eheim and Hydor pumps that allow them to accept 1/4" fittings. Eheims are more reliable but Hydors will give you the power you need for multiple reservoirs.

I'll already be using an AquaComputer/Eheim 1046 pump for the actual cooling loop. I more than understand the necessity of a quality pump for performance.

This (seperate) loop though will just be circulating water through three reseviors. I'm not worried about flow rate, head pressure, etc. It's really more a mod than a cooling solution. The loop I'm sourcing parts for:

Pump > Res1 > Res 2 > Res 3

No waterblocks, no radiator, short tubing...
