Corsair Dominator 4GB
4870 512MB

Corsair 620HX

Ok so i was planning to sell the Mobo/Ram/Cpu, and pay the difference for the I7
What is the cheapest possible parts for the I7?, and how much would i be able to sell the parts I do not need?

You will need the 1366 adapter for the heatsink, mobo, CPU and RAM.
If you are not planning on using SLI you can get a mobo that does not support SLI and save a few bucks (I think MSI has one). The least expensive i7 is the 920 - just check the deals section, there are plenty of deals there (I think the best pricing there was a microcenter deal).
RAM is the only area where there is some room for saving money. You can get a dual channel memory kit instead of a 3 channel one and if you get a PC3-1066 you can probably lower the cost.

Gigabyte has x58 with only 3 ram slots and crossfire support for $199, G-Skill has the cheapest DDR3 RAM $80 for 3 Gig kit and micro-center has Core i7 920 for $240.
