I have 2 boxes with PCIe slots that I have folding 24/7 ..was just wondering what are the cheapest cards out there that can fold? ..being poor white trash and all , I'd like to increase my production but I don't have the funds to do it with , but maybe I could sell some of my "toys" to get get at least one (or 2 hopefully). :(

If your doing it just for folding the 8800GS is the best bet you can grab them for under $100 (some times much less with rebate)

Keep an eye open for the 8800 GT or GS. They have been seen in the wild for as low as $69.00 after rebate. A bit of an over clock and each card is an instant 4500 or more PDP.

Luck;)

I picked up a XFX 8800 GS XXX the other day ($100) and admitted has a noisy fan with an overclock from stock (680core/1700shader/800memory) to (729/1836/837)
I am pulling ~5100 ppd from it. Not to shabby for $100
