Cheapest/Easiest Upgrade Path?

So my PC is getting dated and I'm looking for some advice/opinions/thoughts on what would be the cheapest and easiest upgrade path. Lately I have been using this for gaming only.

Current Setup
i7 860 @ 3.8GHz on H20
DFI LANParty DK P55-T3eH9
EVGA GTX 570
Crucial Ballistix 8GB DDR3 1600
2 x 640GB WD Black RAID 0
Corsair HX850
Xigmatek Utgard

Originally I was thinking of getting an i5 2500k and then would then have to get a new board, kick up that RAM to 16GB and get an SSD. But I'm not overly fond of my case so would want something different as well.

My second thought that even though I have an old i7 it's not THAT bad and I could probably find an older SSD or two for RAID 0 (since the current board only supports SATA 3Gb/s) for cheap, 16GB of RAM and a new case on the cheap side and probably another 570 for SLI and that should last me a good long while.
 
What's your objective? Asking for an upgrade path without telling us your current woes is like asking us to troubleshoot when you haven't told us the problem.
 
What's the max resolution of your monitor?
What's your max budget for this upgrade?
Which version of Windows 7 do you have? Pro? Home Premium?

So far, you really don't need to upgrade the CPU. mobo, or RAM just yet. However I do not recommend getting a second GTX 570 since A) that'll use up a lot of power and B) you'll still have the same 1280MB VRAM limitation in SLI. As such, I recommend just getting a new video card wtih at least 2GB of VRAM. Which card you get is determined by your budget and the max resolution of your monitor.
