well im interested in giving watercooling a try. ive heard quite a few stories of everything going bad but ive seen plenty more people being happy with their wc kit.
i'd like to know whats the cheapest/best water cooling kit i can get for under 100 canadian. it would be nice if that kit would be n00b friendly.

for that price point youd be better off buying a good heatsink and fan

any watercooler at that price point will be piss poor so unless your ready to pony up id stick with air

what about making ur own WC system? meaning, go completely [H]ard and make ur own cooling blocks, and just buy a good pump and tubing. but i guess that is now easy trip for a novice...but, theres no point in getting into watercooling if ur not willing to buy quality parts.

just save up for a while i guess

ThermalTake Aqua 2 will do what u need it to and its far better then a HSF,iv used one on a 3.4c with load at 45*c and idle at 34*c..its verry n00b friendly and u will gain better results,it sells for less then $100 (us) mabny try to find a used setup?

Yeah, if I were you I'd do it semi DYI. At least learn about all the good hardware you would want and then stalk the For Sale forums to see what you can bring home, as well as ebay. If you can get some items used and the others from cheaper local retailers (not computer retailers) then you can save a bunch. The satisfaction from pulling together a kit on your own and in your price range would be worth it if you had the motivation to do such a thing.

for some reason, a watercooling kit isn't something I'd want to skimp out on

Hes a nub and not going for a 5ghz system so a nub water system will be more then enuff to get his feet wet (no pun) later on in life he can move up if he so need's
