I need a cheap video card for my mom's computer. Only requirements are that it runs 1280 x 1024, has DVI output, and has an AGP interface (no PCI cards).

Also, I would prefer an ATI or other well-known company with a good warranty.

Any of these would suite your needs, i would go with the Sapphire 9200, good brand, good warranty

looks like a winner, thanks for doing my homework for me

Doesnt matter what your doing, you want at least 64mb of VRAM, so you can also do some basic #d apps if she ever wanted

i think you should get what tranCendenZ recommended becuase it has passive cooling and would be alot more quiet and supports dx9 incase your mum wants to play hl2 with effects :p

Yeh heh that Albatron fx5200 for $6 more is a great deal... dx9 + 128mb ram versus dx8.1 and 64mb ram on the 9200.

the Sapphire 9200 has passive cooling and no one will be playing HL2 for several months, and my mom is more of a word processor type persion then a first person shooter

plus I like to stick to mainstream brands

Considering you don't need much of anything, I'd probably just pick up a cheapo Radeon 7000 series card.
