cheap trick to get a pump quiet

i was having a heck of a time getting my eheim to be quiet.. i tried all kinds of foam and various materials. then it struck me to use some bits of the left over 1/2" tubing under it (sideways, not end on end) this left a nice suspension for the pump to sit on, and now hardly any vibration is getting thru to my case.

just thought i would pass it on, as my pump is rather quiet now

it's a 1250.. it was driving me nuts with the hum and rattle it was creating.. mostly because it was vibrating my case.
