Cheap Tablet to Stream Audio across LAN?

[MeatballCB]

Anyone have any suggestions on a super cheap tablet that I can use to simply stream music that I have sitting on a Windows based file server sitting across a LAN?

I originally was trying to get some old phones to do the trick (HTC 8X and HTC Evo 4G), but I have to jump through a lot of hoops and buy a bunch of stuff to make it work. If I can find a tablet for around $50 that can do it out of the box it'd be a lot easier.

What do you mean stream music?

I would rather just recommend you get a Sonos Play 1. Probably going to be 100x better than a tablet hooked to a cheap speaker to stream music.

Nobody at the lan has an old phone or a server/2nd rig/laptop with foobar2000 installed?
