I am looking for a cheap, stabilized, and decent lower light performer that is going to be used in an industrial setting. My budget is $200 or less. What are some good performers in this range?

I'd suggest to go Canon. Their P&S always appear to have the sharpest pictures. They may not win out on pure photo taking speed though. Most of their models now have Optical Image stabilization.

Your "industrial setting" comment concerns me. What are we talking about here? Tons of dust, being tossed around, running hundred of pictures through it a day? It may make sense to pickup a used Canon or Nikon SLR with a stabilized lens.

Here are the P&S:

Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS 12.1 MP Digital Camera ~$200

Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS 12 MP CMOS Digital Camera with 4X Optical Zoom ~$170

Canon Powershot A3300 IS 16 MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom ~$150

Here is a different format camera. Bit larger.
Canon PowerShot SX130IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 12x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom with 3.0-Inch LCD

So have you made your decision, or have a list of cameras you are trying to pick between?

Yeah I did the elph300. I haven't used it yet, bought it for the production manager at work.
