GF has this:

Amd athlon 64 x2 3600+
random mobo
evga 8600 gt ( doesnt need PCI-e)
4gb memory
wd3200aaks
Random dvd drive

I need a cheap good psu, I currently have my Corsair 450 in there but i need to move it to my new 2nd PC and figure she doesnt need that much power or that much quality. I dont need name brand and would prefer to speed as less as possible.

The CX400 is $40 after rebate. If you aren't willing to spring even that much to get a decent PSU, then you're in the wrong forum.

The FSP is mediocre. It'll be good enough, but it's still not a very good PSU. But if that's what you want, then go for it.

good enough is all i need. the girl will be upgrading her pc later this year, so not to worried if it goes up in flames :p

I presume the Dynapower is just for humor. 16A on 12V sounds scary.

Well if the 8600 does not need a PCIe power connector the whole setup is around a bit over 200W or so? The FSP one may be ok so long as no strong stability in voltage is needed. Isn't the Silverstone 350 as FSP based PSU as well? I would think the Corsair is the best out of all that has been suggested and at that price, hard to beat.

When Lowest Price is the Deciding Factor: Lowest Priced PSU's Recommended
