Cheap gaming/editing build?

Hi, I want to build a relatively cheap for gaming and editing.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? Etc
Gaming, web browsing, photo/video editing but slightly more gaming than editing

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
500 after tax and preferably no shipping if possible and from ncix.ca

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Motherboard, video card, processor, RAM, case, power supply, optical drive, hard drive, and network adapter for wifi(?)

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
None.

6) Will you be overclocking?
No.

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1920 by 1080, 24 inch

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
By the end of this week

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
Not familiar with these stuff.

What games are you playing and what type of video editing (including programs used, if any) are you doing?

$500 is too little money to build an effective gaming or video editing machine. The costs of an OEM license for Windows alone takes up 20% of your budget.
 
I'll be playing dota 2 most of the times and don't plan on playing anything that is more graphic demanding(?). I just want to build a computer that'll run things smoothly for now.
I'll be using PS CS6 and vegas pro. I won't be doing any heavy editing as I am starting to learn the basics atm. I guess i'll have to increase the budget to cover the cost of the OS license if need be.

I know that you wanted this to all fall under $500 including VAT, but I couldn't reach that goal without making some serious compromises that would result in lower quality parts. Sadly, this is a low quality build in comparison to what we usually recommend for 1080p gaming and video editing machines.
