will there be any arriving shortly, as i need a cheap 1440p ips 60hz free sync monitor to replace my old Korean made monitor.
 
Haven't heard of any, but AOC are starting to put out cheap 60hz 1080p Freesync monitors, so I'm optimistic about a 60hz 1440p version soon
 
As of right now, 1440p@60 hz in an IPS panel is not going to come cheap. Maybe something from Qnix?.. Possibly in the near future as prices hopefully come down
