Need suggestions for a good, cheap, effecient Case/PSU (not exceeding 140$ US). Preferable to have 120mm fans in the case that dont require me modding it (sorry - no dremel or jigsaw on hand), and at least 350W P/S. I may need even stronger (maybe you guys can help) it doesnt have to be a bloody server tower >_<:

A64 3500+ Retail
Asus A8V Deluxe Rev 2 (or MSI K8N Neo2 Plat if I can manage to dig it up at a DECENT price SOON*sigh*)
1GB Dual Channel kit (unsure at this moment which kind, but probably OCZ 400 EB)
BFG 6800 GT OC
1x 80GB WD Caviar IDE (sorry no SATA, have to go with spare parts because of the price of the above stuff)
1x 16x DVD-Rom (another spare part - I still have the other computer right beside this one anyway which has the whole burners and mass-storage purposes).

You can see thats not much components, and its not planned to be. I dont want to clutter and weigh down the bloody thing. Sorry no W/Cing or other extreme solutions, since I'll likely make it an aquariam if i tried.

Most of my parts for the new rig will be coming in the next week or two (trying to hold out for a MSI K8N Neo2 Plat mobo).

I dont like the idea of 10lb's of plastic on the front door *cough* Ogre *cough*. The only main concern for this rig is good airflow and a good power supply - its not likely ever going to exceed any additional components - with the exception of removing the IDE for a SATA in the future.

Some suggestions I've been given so far:

Antec SLK3700BQE - 2x120mm spots (rear and front - i think one is included) comes with a 350W PS (Antec SmartPower I think)- BFG lists that it needs 300w PS at the very minimum - tack on the above rig and Im unsure if this PSU is strong enough.

Antec SX1040 Performance II Tower BLACK w/SmartPower 400w PSU (downside - whole bunch of 80mm fans, no 120mm's so this case isnt going to be very quiet).

There was also mention of a Antec Sonata, but those weigh a lot more. Suggestions?

(yeah, excuse if this is considered the wrong "thread", its the closest I could spot that applied to Cases/PSU's in general - the second closest that i could spot would be "Overclocking and Cooling").

personally i wouldn't get the eb ram, as athlons tend to like tighter timings rather than bus speed... but it your choice

hrm.. always thought the EB was for tighter timings. Regardless of which, the primary concern at the moment is computer case/PSU to get.
