cheap cpu cooler for x2 4050e

i need a cheap quiet cpu cooler for a budget build, is this any good? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835220030

its only a 45w processor and that is a 65w cooler but will it be able to handle temps from f@h 24/7 or not?

any other recommendations?

It should be sufficient. You might want to look into purchasing a stock cooler from one of the higher-end AM2/AM3 CPUs as well.

alright, i was just looking into going a really cheap water cooling route and i stubled upon a pump and i wanted to ask about it but i dont know how to move my thread, or if i can, but ill ask anyway


will this work for a cpu only setup?(the same cpu i was talking about before)

well this is going water cooling for sure now, will this cpu cooler be enough and will it fit with 5/8 od 3/8 id tubing?

I think that you would get away with a passive cooler too. I use the Silverstone cooler inside my MiniITX build using a 5050e CPU and it does the job just fine.

do you think the mcr 220 is good enough for a passive on that or is the black ice any better?
