I'm wondering if there is an alternative I'm not aware of for cheap compression fittings.
I know of sidewinder and their selection and a few others but is it as simple as going to a plumbing supply store and getting stuff that works for a hell of a lot less?
Especially when you just want to do some bends or what not and not connect to a component. It just seems like we should have cheaper options.

I tried to search couldn't find much. Anyone know?

You can buy plastic compression fittings for pretty cheap, but they are not recommended as they can break during stress. Bitspower / Feser (BP copies) are pretty much the best and only fittings made for watercooling in the the odd tubing sizes they have. Barbs are the cheap alternative to compression fittings I would say.

Yeah I'm probably going to just bite the bullet and buy a few BP's.
The amount I have tied up in the computer what is another $100 or so for good fittings.

Thanks

You will appreciate good quality fittings. The Bitspower fittings are great, just watch the Rotary fittings. They can sometimes develop leaks. I've had 2 rotaries leak out of the 20 or so I've bought.

Thanks for the advice, I was going to possibly get some rotaries and I'll probably pass, I've heard enough complaints about them. I can get by without.

I know the feeling, I just shelled out upwards of $100 on BP fittings. I've gotten tired of looking at barbs and wormdrive clamps.

Yeah I just paid 212 including shipping, just gave in, was getting tired of looking.
This should finish this build and most of another though, was a lot of fittings.
