Cheap Cases vs Premium Cases

At the moment, I've got one of them awful cream-coloured cases that came with a prebuilt system. I've chucked out the internal components after 2 years of use and replaced them with some fast stuff. Now I want to get a smarter case that does a good job cooling, but which also looks modern. I'm looking at this Cooler Master product:

I can buy it for about £110. Looking around though, I see lots of other cases for things like £20-40, some of them even with cheap PSUs included (which I don't need). These cheaper cases are often fairly ok looking. So what does an £110 product get me that a £40 product doesn't, given that they have the same number of bays and fans etc? Is the build quality and materials noticeably better? Am I paying for airflow design or would I be paying extra for a 'name' that neither I nor anyone I know would be bothered about?

The Coolermaster Cavalier actually feels a bit more precisely built than that one, is ligher, tool less, and much less expensive. Get one without the PSU if you plan to put a good one in to power all your stuff. Cheers.
 
I have the wavemaster because I love the look, but I'm ditching it this week. The airflow in it is horrendous, and there's no reasonable way to cool anything without cutting the case apart. I had 2 panaflo 80mm in front and one in the back, with a quiet PSU (zalman), and the side panels resonated so bad, I could hear it in the next room when I slept. NEVER again.
 
ya get (most of the time) what ya paid for in terms of cases. so, a cheaper case = cheaper quality.
 
I have an MGE Sidewinder and I love its cooling, not too flashy either. IMO the only difference between expensive cases and cheap ones are build materials(Aluminum like in the Lanboy so its light) If its tool-less or not(very nice feature) and if it includes a PSU. Also, yes you are somewhat paying for the name.

There are far more differences than that. Expensive cases are often manufactured to tighter tolerances, better airflow, and better designs for expansion, with options such as front-mounted USB/Firewire/Audio ports, slide-out drive racks, and removable motherboard trays. The alloys in an expensive case may also be of a higher quality, and usually much more attention has been paid to design.
