Wanted to elevate my case higher a bit for better air flow, and always like the case feet on the CoolerMasters. Like these (those actually off a old VCR).

Here's my 'El Cheapo' alternative: use a hole saw to cut 4 disks off a plywood, painted black, glue some sliver tapes (from a string for birthday blooms), 3M double side tape the suckas to bottom of the case...

Hehe, not too chevy :D . Hey, just an idea.

lol...almost reminds me of the cheap shit they do on Trading Spaces...only yours looks good!

that's something I should do...since the feet on my case are the cheap crap that comes with the case and they just fall off if you bump them wrong....damn antec thought too much about the inside layout and neglected to put good feet on there.... (antec 3700amb is the one I'm talking about)

I used to have these rubber legs on one of my case and it raised the case off the carpet. :) I wish I didnt threw them out.

I've used the same case feet on 4 different cases now.... off of my old defunct guitar amp :D They work great, heavy duty and tall.

The silver tape rounds yours out, nice job.

One question... how would rasing a case with no floor fans half an inch (looks like)
increase the airflow?

lol, good point.

I have a related question and here seems like as good a place to ask as any...

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy home theatre type feet such as those that will fit in the stock holes of the Lian Li V1000/2000? Those wheels are just so ugly :p

The only way feet could ever increase the airflow is if you have fan(s) on the bottom of your case. Such as me. No feet, the fan is useless though.

wow, nice

i just bought 4 rolls of cheap clear scotch tape and used it up excessively and then took the empty rolls and glued it under the case and it raised up enough for my case bottom light mod to glow out perfectly

2 bricks and ur case is raised. If someone bitches about it smack em with one of the bricks. Its perfect.

Seriously tho. Nice work there.

if you smack them wit one of the bricks, then your case would be on a tilt :D

LOL! The reason for the raise is that the original Antec feet is less than 1/4" tall. From the second pic could see most of the air intake for this case is right under the front bezel. To keep the case quiet, I am not ready to cut more holes yet.

You could always drill out the stock holes on the case to fit the new feet and *bolt* the feet on.

Nice job there!! They look very nice!!

To the posters wondering why you would want case feet:
From my experience, I find the case feet have two purposes. First, rubberized (if thats a word) feet can reduce case vibration, especially if you have a metal case on top of a desk. Second, it keeps the case from scratching my wood desk or floor. That's why I will only buy cases (although, I think I finally found my permanent case) with feet on them.

Zero

If its on a tilt just say its been "Modded" and roll ur eyes at em. Then smack em with the other brick.

I was looking to add case feet to my Sonata as well, and those look amazing. I was thinking of lighted case feet though, made of acrylic and lit by LED's. Hopefully I'll get round to making them soon. :)
