Hello,

I’m in the process of building myself a new working/gaming desktop computer, and I’m having a hard time deciding what chassis to go for. My requirements to the case are that the system has to run very silent with good airflow and low temperatures. Also good build quality is important, and I would happily pay for it. Then there’s the size which is probably the hardest part… I think that the Antec P183 is a bit on the large size, so I’ve been looking at the following models:

  • Lian-Li PC-A05
  • Lian-Li PC-9
  • Fractal Design R3

They are all smaller than the P183, but what about noise, airflow and build quality? And most important, will my parts fit in it? Maybe you know of other cases that I might have missed in my search. I’m very open to other manufactures.

The components I’m thinking about buying are the following:
  • Intel Core i7 2600K
  • ASUS P8P67 Pro or MSI P67A-GD65
  • Corsair Vengeance DDR3 PC3-12800 CL9 2 x 4 GB (upgraded to 3 or 4 x 4 GB if needed)
  • EVGA GeForce GTX 570
  • Intel SSD G3 when it’s out and 2 HDDs

Thank you very much for any information about these chassis'.
