changing your name

Hi I wanted to change my name to iGamer to reflect my logins at other forums. I couldn't figure out if you could. So I have registered the name "iGamer" that has been email-ativiated but not by an administrator. IS there a way to merge my posts to teh new name?

i'm pretty sure your only allowed 1 login, maybe you should have done this via pm

From the FAQ:

(7) How do I change my username?
Usernames are not changeable unless it is to the advantage of the Administration ie: politically incorrect/trollbait/disgusting/improper usernames that somehow slipped through the filter. If you want a different name, you must have an admin close your present account and then you may re-register with the new name.

As a future feature I think you ought to have like 1 name change per year. If that would be feasible.

BTW, I laughed at the bottom of your sig about Crysis. That is very true. Crysis will have some serious requirements.

Well this forum is years old, and lots of people register, ask a question and then piss off. (not that there is anything wrong with that ).

But anyway, even if there were only 9000 registered users it will be impractical to offer to change usernames.

I figure that over half of the members would get a name change if it was an easy thing to do. We simply don;'t have the time to handle all of the requests and I'm not about to open that Pandora's Box at this point. Consider your account closed and you may register your new one.
